CEL came on with 12 codes need some help
I have a 97 a4 quattro 2.8 and the CEL has been coming on and going off for a few weeks. I finally got a scanner hooked up to the OBDII while the CEL was still on and I pulled 12 codes

This car has about 162000 miles on it. It had a new transmission installed at 75000 miles and we just put in a new water pump radiator thermostat front passenger upper control arm and soon ill need a new control arm on the drivers side.
So not only am I looking for advice on what the problem is with the car and shy its throwing so many codes (maybe it just needs a tune up I dont believe the plugs and wires have been changed in a while (at least 60,000 miles) But also if it might be time to just get rid of the car. Given the age of the car and the amount of problems ive had is it worth it to keep investing this much money into the car for repairs? Whats the average life span of a 97 a4 2.8? Im getting the feeling that this car is turning into a money pit and we use it as a commuter is it wise to keep up with all of these expensive repairs or is it time to call it quits?

Check the air filter and clean the MAF. Check everything is tight and you don't have an intake leak somewhere. The lean codes suggest that your motor is receiving more air than the MAF is measuring. You may have a small leak downstream of the MAF Check the throttle body to plenum seal.
When they get old a lot of the vacuum lines and PCV lines start to crack. The vacuum lines can be replaced with silicon but the vent lines are $$$ from Audi.
162000 miles for a 12 valve A4 is barely broken in. Plenty of them with twice that mileage.
