Based on all the details you provided about your car the answer is "dunno".

Model and mileage?

Are you losing oil? Coolant?
I doubt that there is a problem.
Even if there is a problem, a compression test probably won't find it.

Smoke color? Black, blue, or white?

White smoke is not oil, it is coolant or just normal moisture created by combustion. Oil smoke is blue. Is coolant level dropping? Is the coolant still clean looking or looking like nasty coffee?

When the weather turns cold it is completely normal to see white smoke from the tailpipe. Depending on how cold the outside temp is will determine how much smoke will be visible and how long it will last after the car is warmed up.

coolant and oil are clean and the weather is 47 degrees. i guess its normal because the car drives great and i recently replaced the intake manifold gaskets. i just don't know why it smokes all day long
