shakey idling engine
my car is a 1999 Audi A4 1.8T. When im driving and I go to take my foot off the accelerator sort of fast to put my brake on, the engine will "shake" back down to idling speed. I was just wondering if this was normal? or if there is anything I could do about it.

vacuum leak(s)?
bad engine or tranny mount?
a better description of "shake" might help more. does it do it on release of the throttle only or does it shake while sitting and idling as well?

yes, its right as i release off the throttle, it will shake and as i watch the RPM guage the needle will go under (while its shaking when im stopped) then when the engine goes back to normal the RPM's will go to normal idling.

It sounds like a vacuum leak indeed. I'd look into your brake booster. Check all the lines leading to the booster for holes or complete disconnecting.
