Hello everyone
I own 1996 Audi A4 Quattro, 183,000 miles on it
Oil and coolant was flushed and changed 3000 miles ago due to pressure plate work job.

I have this misfire code for Cylinder 1 misfire. I do not think it misfires during trip but it noticeably misfire from time to time on start up. It may misfire for 3 seconds and idles just fine.

So far..

Compression Test Done -> All cylinders read 160~180 psi at around 160~180 F Temp, dry test
Spark Plug in cylinder 4 was swapped with one from cylinder 1 for testing purpose, in the mean while, plug from 4 was a bit worn, so i changed it with a new one, and the factory gap of 0.32 made it misfire like a CHAMP so I regapped all plugs to .40, feels much better now, but misfire still exist

I also performed intake seal test w/ carb cleaner, didnt notice any change in engine RPM or behavior during the test... so

I conclude that
Head Gasket, Intake Gasket, Injector Seal, Plugs, Valve Seal and Guide are in a good working order...(Unless you think so, please post)

What else could cause a misfire only on start up?
