Default Can't decide on coilovers...

I'm debating between Stasis Street or H&R coilovers. I'm looking for improved handling while not totally killing ride quality and both are in my price range.

Any thoughts or opinions?

Default Koni Coilovers are on Special at Achtuning

$950 shipped anywhere in the continental US, only 2 sets left.

Default Depends on budget, ride quality and performance you are looking for...

Stiffer means better performance, but poor ride
Softer means better ride, but less performance.

H&R are progressive spring with monotube shocks(quicker rebound).
Stasis Streetsports are modified Koni coilovers with twintube shocks(slower rebound).

I am currently changing out my Penskes(linear springs and monotube shocks) to Vogtlands(progressive springs and twintube shocks) to have some middle ground between ride quality and performance.

Default So if I understand correctly...

The twintube shock will provide better ride quality while loosing some performance?

If that's the case the H&R's will be more performance oriented vs the better ride quality of the Stasis Streetsports?

How would you compare the Vogtland's to the Stasis? Similar in all regards or is one more performance oriented?

Default Also need to factor in spring rates

Take a look at this link<ul><li><a href="https://forums.audiworld.com/a4gen2/msgs/1050345.phtml">Coilover for a B6</a></li></ul>

Default I got the STaSIS Streets and they were only a FEW $ more than buying Koni's straight up.. LOVE THEM

The ride on the street is very comfortable and it is firm enough when I push it. I have crrrappy roads here in Winnipeg, so if I go any stiffer, Tracksports for example, I would likely break something being a little too stiff...

I heard Vogts are awesome also.

STaSIS springs are progressive also... maybe this is a given...
