Can anyone give me info regarding the Bosch 5.3 ABS for 99 AEB
I had the ABS, BRAKE & AIRBAG lights flashing. This ABS issue was off and on for about one year and it always seemed to go away. The ABS finally died a few weeks ago.
After doing some searching I found a DIY site and followed the instructions to RR the broken wire in the module. Reinstalled the module and 2 out the the 3 lights went away but the ABS light still lingers, Code
Left front wheel sensor) I swapped L&R sensors and still had the same code.
I am having trouble finding a used Module for this car. Does the Bosch Module # have to be exactly the same as my original # or do all 5.3 systems with the same pump design and year of production interchange?

OK, maybe someone has an old ABS Module from a 99 Quattro AEB
The numbers on my pump are 8E0 614 111 A and
the Bosch Module on the pump is # 0265 220 408.
If anyone has a spare forsale let me know?
