Blue Painters Tape and A Rattle Can
So I'm not sure if this will interest anyone here but I'm proud of my accomplishment and thought I would show it off. The gray paint around the Audi symbol on my hub caps on my stock rims was virtually gone due to age and wear and looked like a bunch of yellowish spots all over and quite honestly just looked awful. So one can of black metallic spray and some clear coat turned them into a work of art. Check the pics. Thanks for your time everyone (sorry if I wasted it)

You know I was checking that out and only thing was the clips holding the rings on didn't look like they were made to be taken off. Kind of like a solid pin with a piece holding it in, one time use stuff. I couldn't figure it out so out comes the blue painters tape, a razor blade, and about an hours worth of time. Sure would have been easier, and quicker, if I could have. Should have checked the forums maybe? lol

Yea I saw a post somewhere on a forum where a guy pushed those little silver pins back out and it worked out for him.
If you did that with painter's tape you've got a lot of patience. Looks good.

Thanks yeah it took about an hour to tape up the rings and the outside. Pretty rewarding having it done though lol
