Battery change and found out how a weak dollar vs. Euro sucks a$$
Finally, got a day off to install my Benz battery that i had sitting in my kitchen on a battery tender for the last 2 months.(the OEM battery is still kicking a$$ however allmost 7 years old i did not trust it anymore)
I thought i had to remove the OEM stut bar, however i did not have too. Just removing the passenger rain gutter does the trick. I also used a battery booster thiggeee that i hooked up to the battery wires so i would not loose the radio and power window functions. It all went well. The new battery fits like a glove, even down to the vapor tube.
However, from removing the rain gutter thigeee in order to replace my Hepa filter(s), 2 out of the 3 plastic screws finally got stripped to the point were i cannt turn them suckers. I also need it to replace the Hepa filter. Them suckers get dirty quick....Unbelievable.
So, Off to the dealer i go with rain gutter thigeee in hand. I was hoppping i could just get the plastic screws...but NO!! gotta order the whole thing.....Price was not bad, around $38 bucks. Here comes the kicker, I paid $32 for the F***ing Hepa filter!!! 6 months ago them suckers can be had for $19.99!!
Did i say the EURO is kicking us around!!!
Finally...i got to see the Carrera GT Porsche up close...Not impressed at all for $448.000 G's. Does that car have the most ugly wheels or is it me??????The wheels just do NOT fit the car. What was Porsche thinking???

Uh, regarding the CGT's wheels -
Anyone who judges a car like the GT (that he clearly doesn't begin to understand, and never will) by the STYLE OF ITS WHEELS should be completely disregarded in connection with anything that has to do with cars.

If i would to buy that car, I would refuse to drive the car off the lot with them Low rent looking wheels. Dont get me wrong, they are forged ....tip the scales at 12lbs each probably...etc. It would be the first mod 
But, C'mon...the wheels are ugly, Period!!!

On a car like the CGT (or any other landmark extremely high performance car) can you name anything more trivial than how the wheels look? Okay, the shape of the turn signal stalk. Maybe.
