APR Chip -- anyone notice less power at low RPMs?
I have the APR v3 1bar chip, and I noticed that it seems to produce less power at low RPMs than the stock chip. With the APR chip, it seems like I need to give it some extra gas when getting into first gear... otherwise, it'll tend to sputter a bit (almost like how it feels when getting into first with the AC blasting). Also, when I floor it, there's a pretty noticable delay before the power kicks in... also, since I've recently installed a turbo boost gauge, I noticed that with the stock chip, it seems like the turbo starts spooling up (hitting positive PSIs) a lot sooner than the APR chip... basically, with the APR chip, I'll have to press farther down on the accelerator in order for the boost to start kicking in. Anyone have any ideas what might cause this? I'm suspecting it's some type of throttle mis-calibration, but I'm not sure how to fix this as I've tried numerous times to recalibrate the throttle.

No problems here either
I have the APR v3 chip as well and the car feels at least as good as stock in the low RPMs.
Give APR a call. I'm sure they can help you out.
