Default Anyone running corbeau seats with their corbeau brackets?

I mounted mine, and it was too low and too far away from the pedals... I'm 5'8" and that bracket is made for a 6'+ person... F being short...

Now I need to rework the bracket for my short ***.

Default 1.8 or 2.8? I had to drill my 2.8 drivers side one where it mounts to the floor...

this was moreso that my wife can drive reach the push the pedals with knees still bent for track purposes.

Default I had Corbeau's with sliders and Wedge brackets and all the way forward was cutting it close...

Time to rework the brackets basically... I assume you have sliders? Easiest to do new holes on the slider to seat connection... since the slider to bracket will be very difficult. I'm 5' 9.5" btw.

Default nothing a drill, angle grinder and welder won't fix :)

ANd being short has its perks... when I think of a few, i'll letcha know :-P (I'm 5'7" btw, so I feel your pain).

Default So, what is the diferent between Wedge bracket and Corbeau one..

and did you get the sliders from Corbeau? I have a pair of Corbeau TRS waiting to put in mine 01 1.8T with no power seat.

Default Get the brackets from Wedge Engineering... sliders are pretty universal.

Haven't seen the Corbeau ones in person before, I assume they are similar....

Ideally I'd like to have someone weld me custom brackets to put in the car... but that's not going to happen at this time.

Default If the Corbeau brackets from mustang will work in an A4, I might have a pair for ya...

at a fraction of the new cost.

They're sliders fwiw.
