Anyone have a pic of Tstat location on 1.8t and can it be done without removing TB?

Allen socket and two extentions and I can do Tstat with ease.

I agree with easier, not with quicker on the alternator removal.

On the ATW you only need to remove the shield and remove the two hose flange bolts

Though note, you will get coolant everywhere!

Also, my thermostat is a pain to put back in place as it simply falls out again while you try to bolt the flange in place.

Does anyone have the part number for the t-stat for an 2001.5 1.8T???
