assumming the k03 from a 99.5 is the same as 98.5 (i believe it is) i have one...

01 has 4mm shaft while the 00 has 3mm shaft.
But the truth is that there is really no such thing as a K03s on the A4. If the 01 had a K03s it would have made way more power then the pre-01's when pushing the same amount of boost and that was never the case. The 01 chipped made a little more power but that is because the chip tuners tuned the 01 chips to push more boost then they did on the pre-01's. Same thing for the cars fully stock.
