Used it once in the past
I used it in my 2000 VW Jetta years ago and it caused the coolant to become brownish with some sediment. VW uses the same G-12 coolant, so I would NOT recommend it. The G-12 is pretty good stuff, so don't mess with it.
BTW, the Water Wetter did not lower coolant temps as claimed.

open block VS. closed block
I have heard that for cars such as ours, water wetter and similar products will do nothing. Essentially, the Audi's systems will keep the car within a specified range of temperature, opening and closing portions of the radiator and using the fan as needed. That is a closed block design. Those cooling products only work in open block designs; cars and motorcycles that have a radiator whose full capacity is open to the engine at all times.

Who knows
Hey, my experience is in the open block world, I have no idea... haha, I found a website from the coolant company that makes engine ice, a product I use in my motocross bikes; http://www.engineice.cc/auto.html
That explains that their product will not make a big difference in modern cars. Water Wetter operates on the same principles.

The only variable we have is a thermostat, which allows/prevents coolant from ....
being pumped through the radiator. In no way is the radiator altered. The fans are also thermostatically controlled to only turn on when needed.
