I'm talkin about just the chip here. I understand that the actual MTM Stage 2 includes an exhaust system.

What i want to know is what's different about the software. Is the stage 2 chip actually pushing more boost (stage1 is 1.0 bar already....stage 2 isnt 1.1 bar is it???)?

There isnt any difference,the program is the same on both EPROMs,the exhaust on stage 2 just removes a restriction with the std system,the ECU can compensate for small changes like that,You will probably find that if the chip has been optimised for any spec,it is probably stage 2,as most people that chip a car would tend to also add some other complimentary mods,

I think the Stage II chip is designed to take advantange of the lower backpressure of the added exhaust system. Check with Hoppen on that because I may be speaking out of turn.
