Any reason not to use the Napa Gold oil filter, beside the usual response

Link to some good reasons for using it
I can't think of any legitimate reason not to use it. Mike from Tyrolsport does all the work on my car and recommended the NAPA Gold to me. If it's good enough for his personal cars as well as his track-prepped customers' cars, then it's definitely more than good enough for mine.

https://forums.audiworld.com/a4/msgs/1703880.phtml</a

I wasn't implying that you buy $50 in filters to get free shipping
Between spark plugs, cabin pollen filters and other nicknacks, you can't reach $50? between my A4 and other cars, i've given them $500 over the last year.

My autozone has a terrible selection when it comes to this stuff
it is pretty hard to find these every day parts. I thought I was gonna get into a fight with the counter guy when I did my oil change for the first time. Only filter they stocked for my car was the fram. I told him the filter was junk and there was no way it would ever get on my car. He got all defensive and hostile with me.

Ignorance is bliss. The Bosch Premium #3500 is a nice filter for $5. Synthetic media for long ocis.
I do 2 oil changes for each filter change, so I try to use a premium. If I am just doing routine stuff, the Puralator is fine.
