Default Any DIY fixes for leatherette tears / peeling?

Hi, noticed the start of some small tear/peeling on my driver seat (the area just next to the sitting surface, kind of just next to where your thigh would be). Anyhow, if I push on the cushion, the tear is not noticable, but once I let go, you can see some small breakage to the upper layer (i.e. peeling), so just wondering if there are any known DIY fixes to help with that or at least prevent further peeling. Since the seat is light colored (beige), is quite noticable.

Thanks.

Default No smoking in the car. If they do, their head gets broken.

No eating in the car either. Drinking only, non-sticky/messy beverages.

Default VERY common problem with the leatherette seats - the bolster starts to crack

Only thing to really do is get it professionally repaired. Either with a new bolster sewn on, or with vinyl repair - the vinyl repair looks ok - a friend got it done for $35 and it looks fine. I am getting mine fixed soon too.
