Default Another 17536 error code post but I think my MAF is ok?

I can't pass inspection because I keep getting a 17536 error code. I searched on here and ran a reading. I got a steady 3.0g/s on idle and that seems to be running with the normal 2-4g/s range I've found on here.

This is really frustrating, anyone have any ideas?

Default What MY and engine? That's a long term multi fuel trim to lean error ... not idle.

What's the MAF at higher revs?
Also, look for bad FPR or FPR hose .. O2 sensor function, etc.

Default MY2000 & the engine type is 1.8L R4/5VT w/72k miles

I just got home from another test. I was playing with the VAG program and figured out how to log my runs.

However, weird thing though, when you view 003 in realtime, the value is given in x.x g/s (ie 1.8 g/s) but in the log, the value is given in xxx g/s (ie 800 g/s).

I ran a 2nd gear high rev test going up an onramp to the freeway and the value starts out at 800 g/s and peaks out at around 6,360 g/s in 2nd gear and just one notch under redline.

So, what do you think of those values? Is 6,360 still low for high rev in 2nd?

I took the car to a general mechanic last week and when he tested it, he said it might be an O2 sensor (using the same DTC error code, but he looked it up on some "pro" website which I wish I remembered the URL). I'm taking it to another guy tomorrow morning for a 2nd opinion.
