Default Well it should look better then my 488whp, once I get the graph I will post it up.

Here is my old 488whp pull.

Note: the tq scale is not listed. After I got the car back I turned up the fuel pressure a little and brought the AFR back down to the 11's where it spikes up on this graph.

Default A few qestions...

Okay, this is the car that was in the 1.8t challenge a few years back right? If so, I am sure you remeber the black 2.0t sportec avant. My family now owns that car, and it just got dropped off at 034 yesterday. Your car must have been the "monster A4" that javad was saying he was working on when we first tried to make an appointment.

Anyways, the car runs a sportec tune with a secondary injector controller. I have been trying to tell my parents to have javad install the IIc+dbc with a custom tune, get rid of the cat and run an open filter, etc. The car is smog exempt, so no worries on the emissions stuff. In your personal opinion, do you think the A4 would benefit from the standalone system? I cant imagine that it would not make a difference. I am a ecm noob, but it seems like the flexibility/tunability of the system is much greater. It would seem that cars this heavily modified would not be able to be run correctly on the factory ecu, or is the "sportec custom tune" on par?

Thanks...

Default I think that car was in the 1.8t challenge on the east coast in 2003

I think the only Avant at the west coast 1.8t challenge in 2004 was Lon and that is a B6. Was the B6 you have running 2 liter for the 1.8t challenge, because I dont remember it at either event unless it was 1.8 back then.

I used to run a custom GIAC chip tuned by Garret himself on his dyno and that was nothing compared to running the IIc stand alone tuned by Javad.

Default Yeah, it is a custom 2.0 stroker setup campaigned by sportec/ autosport werks. 2nd place

in tuner class, and editor's choice. If you are Mike Hood with a pelican a4....and tony chick with his green gti was in this same competition, does this make anymore sense?

Look in my pic poster for the black b6 avant

Default Yes I am mike hood, but those other guys were in the east coast event

held at Etown while the one I ran in was on the west coast at Fontana. The only other high hp A4 at the west coast event was Tim from TJM.
