Default 18-wheeler: 1 Jason: 0 BWW

Happened today while driving home from NY to DC. I decided to take the Cross Bronx expressway because i needed to stop in northern jersey to get tinted (part of the tint group buy goin on). So I'm driving along going about 65ish and this 18 wheeler cuts me off (from the right lane into the center lane) so I drop back and wait for him to finish, then I lazily move to the left lane and keep on driving. At this point the truck is next to me as we pass under the long overpass/mini tunnel before the Cross River Parkway exit. Next thing I know I see him signal to come into the left lane... I lean on my horn and slam on the brakes but he kept on coming. When he started moving my front bumper was about even w/ the rear wheel of the cab... but I had nowhere to go. No shoulder to my left... just a cement barrier. Then came the fun stuff... glass flying everywhere, smoke from his tires rubbing against my entire passenger side. He ripped up the entire side of my car from the back to the front, my bumper even ripped off and flew over my car. Long story short, I'm ok... walked away w/o even a scratch, but the car is history. The cops came and were very nice - 100% his fault - but all one of the cops kept saying was "Damn, you are lucky... really lucky" She must have said it a good 4 or 5 times.

Anyways, here's the pics of the carnage:

other than that the 350z and new mustang have crossed my mind (more than once)
