Default 12V guys I have question for u...(more)

Where can I get 12V ECU from?
I found Company in Germany, who has a chip for 12V engine and they claim 15-18HP.
I did tell them that my car is US spec.
The chip should works fine and I don't care about the emission I can aways slap the ECU back.
Thats why I need spare one to send to Germany.
The price is EUR499-.
I have one more question
Do I need the ECU exactly the like mine or I can change the code from Quattro to FWD and from auto to stick I know that can be done to the 1.8T ECU but I am not sure about the 12V ECU.

Thanks

Default Thought we went thru that last year......

turned out to be a dead end. Maybe some of the 12V guys can chime in with more updated info than what I have.

Wow - I've been out of the loop for a few months, but it was 14 months ago that I had that test ECU in my hands trying to get something done to it. Hope something comes through.........
