When (if) you ever decide to sell, you need to write a book first.

Default Wish, wish, wish I could... Good luck, Ian. I'm sure you'll have better, less stressful things in

your future. Well, 'till you get married. :P

Default Nope, keep up. Mechanic basically was told one thing when it was another.

It needed an oil pan. If someone gives a ****e because the transmisssion casing has a scratch, wel than they don't even get a test drive.

Default *Edited*...... Thank YOU!......

I would love to let bygones be bygones and to bury the hatchet. You and I have some heated history both with each other and the cars. I never thought I would really follow through with this, but sadly it is the best thing for me to do at this junction in my life. I don't think I will be modifying cars or tracking in the future unless it's in a clean burning diesel/veggie conversion and even that is unlikely as I really intend on trying to go without an automobile of any sort for as long as possible. The money I spent on this car could have either allowed me to have a house, paid for part of my education or allowed me to travel the world for about a year or two. The stock 2.slow Auto Jetta Wagon is more than I need now, yet alone having it and the Audi. I have been practical and logical in so many other ways of my life, but not with the Audi. It's an addiction and I am done.

It's ironic that my schooling in many ways has led me to this juncture as well as me stepping back and rekindling some healthy passions of my past. I think odds are I will most likely be tossing a masters on after I finish up with the BArch, all so that I can drive my career where I want to go.
