You'll understand the clip/securing measure. Option1: You may peel off the existing marker using your finger or a sharp tool (be careful not to scratch your paint if you use a tool). If you choose this option, you risk the chance of bending the metal retaining clip on the factory marker. It could be bent back into place. It could break if you bend it too much/often. The clip is located on the side of the marker closest to the rear of the car. Just pull back on the 'rear' side and the other end just slides out of a tabbed hole. Time: 5 minutes total. Option2: Remove fog light grill by sqeezing on the two tabs pulling them towards the center of the grill. At the same time pulling the grill out . Pass side:, you will definetly be required to also remove the fog light assembly. Using a torx bit, remove 3 screws. No need need to unwire or mess with the bulb in any way. Just let the lamp assembly hang for a moment while you reach up and push out the rear side of the marker. Push out with the hand inside the bumper area, while helping the tab clear the body. With your other hand, help peel back the marker. Driver side:, you may be able to remove the marker by only pulling off the fog grill, I was. If you can't reach you'll need to remove the light assembly as described in the passenger side details. On my car the driver side was easier to remove the marker, it'll slide out easier. The reason the passenger side fog light needs to come out and not the driver side = the horn is in the way. Also: don't try Option2 if you have a very muscular or big arm unless you have a loaner-arm available:) In this case, get the kid next door to help you. Time: 20 minutes total. Note: most people replacing their markers will opt to do this without removing any of the fog light parts, option1. I tend to take my time and choose the long route with these installations. $49.95 for the PAIR includes shipping! Bulbs: the new markers come with amber bulbs. I was originally going to install the new markers with NO bulbs. Then I remembered that our car's computer system will continually warn of a bulb issue. It will beep and also throw a warning signal similiar to low fuel if you have convenience/premium model. Anyone with Lava? You have the best possible color for the smoked option. And of course white cars have a great match with the clear option. But IMO Moro cars look fantastic with smoked, as will Ocean, Murano, Black, Red, you name it! Judge's Moro A3:

The install is very, very easy. Takes 20 minutes, tops. The hardest part is bending over (to flip out the fog light assembly) ;)
I'd post pics, but ECS Tuning's demos of the markers were on an Artic White A3. Anyway, they look so, sooo much better. ---------------------------

I see a lot of other cars where the side markers are integrated into the headlight assembly.
I wonder if one could find a thin LED side marker unit that would fit inside the headlight cover lens, looking out the side.. To be completely legal, they'd need reflector lenses. (Are the headlight covers removeable? ____________________
