Default Looking for suggestions to keep mice out of

the engine bay. I prefer to park in my barn so that I don't have to spend time at 6am clearing snow/ice off the car.

Those little critters are quick - by morning, there's often little nests of fiberglass insulation around the spark plugs...

Would prefer something other than mothballs, as the floor not only gets wet, but I have dogs, little kids and don't love the scent.

Ideas?

Default Oh, and I don't think it's just because it's kept in my barn -

about every two weeks, I pull a nest out of the aircleaner from my Chevy plowtruck that lives outside.

Did yours include the "drowning attachment"? Now that is just messed up!

Default That is rather nasty, but then the cat chowing down on them wasn't much better.

Ahhhh, being close to nature;-)

Default You should see the house! It's

an old farmhouse with tall ceilings... and not a lot of furniture... Set up a couple of snap traps, start to fall asleep and BANG! - an echo of death reverberates through the house (and keeps me awake a while later - feeling awful because I don't like killing things - but if I didn't, they'd take over!).
