I have wanted to get this done for as long as I have owned the car. So after some preliminary alpha testing, I believe I am on the cusp of getting something really special together.
MacMini. Friggen ingenious.

"FrontRow" is the perfect application for an in-car computer.

Everything runs off the supplied remote, bye-bye iPod.

Wow, that is awesome...
So basically you switch to TV mode which is displaying your Mac Mini ?
Nice...
Do you have the Video in Motion option on your RNS-E enabled ?

Dude.... I've wanted to do that since *before* I got the car.... looks great
...but the jealousy is killing me! ;-)
Email me, I've got a couple of ideas for it. You're lucky with the RNS for a display, so you don't have to engineer a way to mount a Xenarc touchscreen.
