Anything in particular i should check at the dealer before I drive off with it on Friday?

Moving to this from a Punto Sporting (2001)

Default Check the brakes for rust on the rotors!!!!

Im going through hell here, trying to get my rusted rear rotors replaced.

Check the usuals....oil, brakes, coolant, when was TB replaced and all paperwork.Nice move btw :-)

Are you serious? What do you mean by "rust on rear rotors" - like where is the rust?

Default There are small spots of rust all over the rear rotors.

The dealer here is trying to say its normal and will go away with time, but its not going to go away. The rust is top deep to be rubbed off from the break pads. This has been going on for months now. My breaks are loud most of the time.

Default My brake rotors rust almost immediately after getting wet. Not an issue.

One or two brisk stops seems to clean it all off.

Common to all cars with iron rotors (which means virtually all cars). I don't know why yours would be different.

rotors are made of steel.. steel rusts.. Its how it is.

... and unless the rust has damaged the surface of the rotor, it's a non-issue.
