Introduction after the fact. With a white BANG! (in other words: pix!)
Hi all,
I've posted a few already. I'm Nuvolari. I chose the name because I like the original, and I liked Audi's design study with the same name--it had what I envisaged after seeing the first B6 A4: the big grille!
Four years later.
I just bought my first Audi in the New World. It arrived on December 22. It is white and it is hot. SO HAWT.
You can find the whole story somewhere else on this forum. The short version is, I got the body I wanted, with the drivetrain I wanted. The engine just fell into place: A3 3.2 quattro.
At first, I didn't want the Open Sky. So I found me a silver on gray (because I hate leather, and black leather even gets hotter than gray leather). It didn't have the Open Sky.
Then I woke up. All those years, I wanted a white car. Why didn't I get one?
Okay, Open Sky was what the market demanded, and to ever sell this thing, I had to have it. There was a white on black coming in, with OS, Bi-Xen, CWP and Sirius. It was headed toward Montana.
Beam me over, Scotty! I grabbed it. It is now the best kept secret in my garage:

The German license plate tells my story: Frankfurt to CA in 1997

Taken during my first ride out, breaking it in. 5 FWY off Camp Pendleton.

This is at Aliso Beach in Laguna Beach, CA. It gives a good impresssion of the green tint I'm having done next week. I've seen this tint on white Touaregs and was blown away! Gotta have it!

Not much to say about this sexy rear end. Uhm, I love the rims. Remind me of shuriken.

That's my new plate. I was surprised it was still available, but then, the A3 3.2 had just come on the market...

Yes! Good call. He needs badly!!!!
Badly. Sometimes people see pics of euros on A3s and think we just removed the filler and installed the plate. Nope, they make an adaptor to make it look OEM.

Looks amazing in white. That was my original color of choice. With OpenSky, sooo hot. and yes, it's screaming for tint. Good luck with it!
