Default importing a3 to the states

I know the a3 is coming out in the states pretty soon, but I don't want to wait over a year for AWD or a v6 model. Is it possible to import a 2005 2.0t AWD or 3.2 AWD to the states? If so where can I find more information? Any help is greatly appreciated!

Default V6 Model with AWD will be avialble in about 8-9 months IRC.

Plus the hassle of transporting it over and the paperwork..not worth it IMO dude.

Default MUCHO $$$$$$$$$$$$

Even if the car will be imported here, the emissions are not the same, and your car may not pass U.S inspections depending on your State.
It is going to be a BITCH to put this into U.S emissions and cost you...A LOT!!
Wait for it; it will be much cheaper this way, and you will be paying about 35% more for a Euro model with less standard feature!

Default If you want to spend that kind money might as well go for something more exotic

The car itself will cost you somewher around 45K US with the dollars current (arcade token) status. At that price point you might as well geat something more exotic like a Noble or a TVR or even that new Alfa romeo 146 GTA which looks even hotter than the A3. It's too bad the EPA and the rest ov the pollititions have made it impossible for us to have grey market cars anymore.

If you could bring one of these back which would you choose?
