eS2 conversion update...
well, the project is moving along...slowly. finally received the new head gasket so i was able to put the engine back together. it looks like new and i can't wait to fire it up!
i also started to take the coupe apart in preparation for the swap. here are a few pics...

engine degreaser, tooth brush, media blaster & a lot of patience!
i used a product called "dunk". smelly, but effective. the media blaster made all the aluminum parts look like new again! repainted everything with either high heat block paint or manifold paint. not sure why we go to these lengths for our cars, but there's certainly a good amount of satisfaction in it when it's done! thanks for all the complements guys! keep your fingers crossed that i can figure out the wiring!
