Surprising there is no strut brace in there. With all the....
cash spent on it, you'd think spending a little more for a custom made job would make it in there. Otherwise very nice.

Actually I've heard the same from those who have installed the bar...
I know Huw Powell said he didn't even notice it in his 90q. I wouldn't say the car could hurt cripsness of the front end, but I'd say the firewall in these cars is pretty beefy and unless you are running really aggressive tires and suspension the brace probably won't make any difference at all. Now when the fresh 225/40 rubber goes on today and coilovers in the not so distant future I may want to gather up those parts and see if there is any real difference to be found with aggressive suspension/tires.
