Default Ok that guy I mentioned in my earlier post about replica AudiSport control arms...

wants 500 Euros for a pair. Not bad since he claims that he has race proven his arms. he also has included "rose joints" instead of the ball-joints you normally would find on control arms. I have sent him a inquiry if he will sell to US guys and how well will the rose-joints stand up on our salty streets and highways.

Default They are quite different than stock arms

I'm not sure who you're talking to, but these are the ones I am buying as a spare set.

They are (at least mine are) just slightly longer than stock arms. On a B3 chassis even with AudiSport struts you can barely get to 0deg camber. That is if you wanted to.

The rosejoint/sphercial bearing accepts the mating shaft/pin at the bottom of the strut. Sorry, I can't find a good picture of it. I'll look around, I'm sure I have one somewhere.

It looks like the arm ends he is making do not have grease fittings either. Mine have fittings to grease the bearing. Although the bearings are availabel with a Teflon sleeve.

They will certainly take a pounding, but they are a high maintenance item. Without cleaning and frequent greasing they will rust and fail. The bearings are also custom. They are a stock bearing that have a relief cut made for the C-clip that holds them into the end of the arm.

Also they do not have a way to mount the stock sway bar. The GroupB sway bar mounts entirely differently.

I honestly don't think they'd be a good investment for too many people.

Where are you sourcing these parts from? I am interested in the top mount. Thanks!
