eS2 conversion update...
well, after 7 weeks of not being able to work on the car, i finally got back to the garage this weekend. rented the engine hoist and finally pulled the old 7A, along with the gearbox. that was saturday. sunday, i tackled the interior. i removed the dash and center console and the heater core/evaporator/blower unit. a solid 5 hour job! the heater core was a little frustrating, as the bentley was a little vague on how to remove this thing! here are the latest pics:

HAHA labeling who needs labeling .... I shockingly have just about everything memorised
You are crazy.. if you are doing the swap..
But in the words of Ralph waldo Emerson
"TO BE GREAT IS TO BE MISUNDERSTOOD"
The sad fact is that .. not only will you be misunderstood by others.. much of the time you will find yourself in confusion. Pondering the thoughts of what make sense. Completely in a state of Crazyness.
But in the end the truth is.. There are others out there to help. Or at least you think so....
Bottom line.. It's not rocket science, it's been done allready. Some one is bound to know the answer and if not.. you got time on your hands to figure it out.
HAHAHA>> engine conversion.. What was I thinking?
I was thinking I can do it.. I still can finish it.. and it just takes more time, more money than anticipated.. Allways will be the case..
In the end you will reap the benifits of knowing you can do something.. that you infact told yourself you could do.
Kinda like doing the Ironman (insanity: to be great is to be misunderstood).
IT's not about how fast you do it for 95% of the people.. IT's just a matter of making it to the finish line or having the heart to attempt to make it to the finish line.
Just my two sense on doing things that truthfully do not make much sense.
Hope you all Had fun reading this bunch of stuff that I think.. That keeps me ????? motivated?
Some day I will do a Ironman.
But first I will finish building an audi coupe quattro 20vT.

Formerly "livi" if you haven't figured that out allready.

it wasn't easy...
but i managed to bring the entire donor car in as a wreck for parts only. oddly enough, the 200 20v is one of very few cars on the canada customs list that is considered "un-importable". so the only way to do it is to find a wreck or bring the engine up on its own.
