Anybody in Michigan or upper Midwest need a parts car?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/4612/my4000q_003.jpg"></center><p>I give up on my 4kq. I bought it as a non-running car with hopes to use it as my winter ride.
After alot of various R&Ring and some fiddling I've lost interest.
It is charcoal on grey leather.
$400 OBO.
Very little body rust. Lot's of little nicks and scraps. Tailights have cracks, spoiler has peeling paint and the roof has some peeling clearcoat.
It does have a clean grey leather interior with heated seats. The seats are not cracked.
Doesn't run due to shorted starter.
Needs a CV boot, starter, alternator, rear muffler and a little engine tweaking(misfires?)to be road worthy.
I have only driven the car once.
Has a new timing belt, tensioner, FPR and comes with a used exhaust off a California car.
Tires are Michelin's with decent tread on Stock Ronals.
I consider it a parts car at this point but someone with the time, energy, spare parts or money should be able to get her going.
Both Mike(audisport4000)and Greg(ATMOS)have seen the car. So feel free to bombard them with questions if you want a unbiased description of the car.
Serious inquiries can be made at ankneys@gmail.com
Thanks!
Steve

In case you decide to part out the car.........
I would definatly be interested in getting the seats from you. I just bought an 87 with the same color combo, but it does not have heated seats plus split leather. Front and back.
Just in case..........

I know someone w/ grey heated leather front & rear for sale if you're interested
But because they are supposed to be in great condition he wants $500 cdn (approx $400 USD).
Also shipping would be pricey.
If you're interested I'll see if he still has them (he offered them to me, but I have no $$).
