For Sale: 1987 4000CS Quattro

I have the title in-hand; clean, no liens. VIN: WAUFB085HA029247
CONS:
Front left CV joint boot loose (needs re-lubrication, as it makes a loud screeching sound when the wheel is turned hard to the right)
License plate lights burned out (obviously an easy fix, only a few bucks at AutoZone)
Cruise control switch defective ($34.86)
Windshield washer pump defective ($8.95)
Intermittent wiper setting relay defective ($36.00)
Top two steering wheel center-insert nuts loose (easy fix)
Brakes squeak (needs new brake pads; very cheap)
PROS:
AMAZING exterior condition--always kept waxed, so the clearcoat shines like new. One square-inch of rust on the entire car.
New clutch in 1999
Suspension totally replaced last month ($795)
Very smooth-shifting
Alpine White exterior with Full Alpine package (matching painted rims, matching side mirrors)
Power/defogging side mirrors work fine
New front and rear windshields (no pitting)
Engine starts fine in all weather and fires on all 5 cylinders
New gas cap
Oil changes every 3k miles, always with the proper oil (20w50)
Door handles all work properly; comes with replacements just in case
Vacuum system serviced recently; locks work fine
European headlights (Hella H1/H4) with PIAA bulbs and fused relays; separate H1/H4 switches ($575)
Quattro-script black interior with heated seats
New e-brake cables
Brand new $800 stereo system installed last month (full Sony Xplod system with 12" sub and 1000w power amplifier)
New Teflon-coated wiper blades
New muffler last month; passed Massachusetts emissions inspection as of 10/2006 (a very hard state to pass in)
New battery
A/C recharged last month ($300, because it uses R-12 refrigerant)
Alignment done last month
Custom-fit seat covers new last month ($295)
Power windows work properly
All floor mats are in good shape
Both original Audi keys included
2-way power sunroof works
I paid $3061.11 for the car originally, and it's in the exact same condition, plus I did about $3500 worth of work to it. I'm willing to lose some money on this deal, because I really want a Japanese car, so I'll set the price at $5100. Call my cell, 603-531-3438 any time.

*Almost* a URQ even..!

I think that like on MG, most people here are not going to spend loads on a 4kq. No 'big spenders' here. We all like to think our cars are worth lots when selling them, but don't ever want to pay big to get them. A funny 'human nature' kind of thing, I suppose.
Anyway.. You may have better sucess selling outside the forum. Then once sold, hooking the buyer up here for further help and advice..

~5600.00 On MG...

His car wasnt finished
Motor was installed but the car wasnt running yet. I forget how much he sold it for. That car was mint when i saw it. The paint was really, really nice, and I think it had been redone but was redone well. V8 tails, recaros, almost finished turbo swap, nice wheels, etc.
Too bad he sold that car, it sure was nice.
