Default Took delivery on my wrecked '85 4ksq

I am going out to my dads shop today to shoot some pictures and get an inventory on whats useable off the car. I will be posting pics later today. Anyone that was interested in parts, feel free to e-mail me or just post your requests here. I need to get the car stripped down quickly and out of his shop. It will be destined for a junkyard or scrapyard once I am done.

I will ship parts as well if anyone not in the Seattle area is looking for something. I have a UPS account and accept payments via paypal.

Default Count me in...Seattle

Hey man. I need a speedo cable, front right corner lamp, headlight switch (badly), rear drivers side corner lamp. Maybe a few other bits. I can come pick them up if you're close to me. I'm in Kirkland. Let me know.

Default Photos of the car.

The interior is in pretty good shape for a car with almost 300,000 miles. It is the brown velour with the only noticable defects being a small seperation on the back of the drivers seat and the RH butt bolster on the passengers seat is deformed a bit. One of the arm rests was stuck between the seat and the door so it may go back to normal. The front door cards look like they had speakers mounted to the top black vinyl part close to the dash. Pretty much anything from the back of the car has been obliterated (lights, bumper, ss trim, etc..).

I will be using the engine and will probably pull the wheels, suspension, and drivetrain before it goes to the scrap yard.

I would like to sell the interior and as much other stuff as possible. Let me know what you want/need fairly quickly since my dad wants it out of his shop ASAP.

Window regulator passenger front and drivers rear

door handle for drivers rear

power antenna if it works, and is still in one piece after the pounding the rear took on that thing.

Default Re: Lots of wrecked 4ks in the NW lately.

Well mine lives on I gave it away when I got the V8Q so it was not totaled if that makes you feel any better

Silver 4ks I am glad the vehicle is living on in a new life and did not go to the junk yard as most people would do with a car like that. The thing treated me right for over 100,000 miles and it still had alot of life left in it. The engine ran like a champ just needed complete redo of the suspension.

Fear not the living are not sent to die at least mine was not.
