Default 4.2 non fsi intake manifold swap to a fsi?

hello guys,
i wanted to know if its possible to swap a fsi intake into a non fsi engine. by power numbers, fsi engines get aprox 30hp and i think its mainly on the manifold. of course i know there are other things that change (the tune for example). i just want to get a little more hp out of my non fsi.
i even thought of upping CR at a point. deck the heads, slimmer headgaskets and a tune for 97 oct.
i wanna know what you guys think about the subjext.

FSI is 40 valves. Non-FSI is 32 valves.

wrong
Non-fsi is 40 valve, fsi is 32 valve.

Op: you wont get the power from the intake. The torque comes from the direct injection and youre never getting as much down low without serious mods. Fsi is just so good for torque numbers

1992-1994 4.2 was a belt 32v engine (ABH code, have one sitting in the nose of one of my CoupeQ's), found in the V8Q (aka D11)
1997-1999 4.2 was a belt 32v engine (ABZ code, have one sitting on a pallet for my other CoupeQ), found in the D2 A8
2000-2006 4.2 was a belt 40v engine (a few codes, I think), found in the D2 and early D3 A8.
2007+ was the chain FSI 32v engine, had one in a Q7, Stage 1 tuned, for such a heavy pig it was a beast.
