1999 30v V6 quattro engine pics needed PLEASE HELP!!!!
Hello everyone
I am almost done with my transmission swap. Yeah 6 weeks, going on 7th week now. No thanks to the betly manual...I need help in obtaining pictures of the following:
1) I need a picture of the rear engine with harness connected to see where all the wire plugs connect. (There is an extra plug that needs to be connected and I can't seem to make ends of it.)
2) A vacuum line on the driver side fender which comes out and connects somewhere to the motor.
3) The little tray above the throttle body with vacuum lines. I beleive they are fuel pressue system or Exhaust emissions system not sure.
Note to self, I'll make sure to take pictures before disconnecting everything heh.
Thank you
Gus

take a few pics of what you have, it'll be easier to troubleshoot
as far as the vacuum line routing, you should have a diagram on the inside of your hood showing exactly where they go. One goes to the sec. air valves on each head, the other goes to the variable intake manifold actuator.

That extra plug could be the speedometer sensor....I had trouble with that one, its connector is hidden behind the driver side axle flange.
How many pins, what color are the wires?
