Coolant Temp Sensor Location

Coolant Temp Sensor Location
I need to replace my coolant temp sensor and after searching the forums for quite some time I still can't find it. Is it in the same place as the 1.8 engines? I don't want to pry out the wrong thing. My knowledge of engine care is pretty much limited to changing my oil so any hints you might think helpful would be greatly appreciated. Oh and its a 98.

the main sensor is behind the passenger valve cover near the firewall
on the hard coolant pipe. The secondary sensor (for the gauge cluster) is in the lower radiator hose on the passenger side (access from underneath).

As 4Rings said, on passenger's side back of engine...and a comment
I changed mine last weekend as I was getting around 22mpg on the freeway, so I started with the cheapest parts.
On a drive from Baltimore to Richmond this past weekend, I was up over 26mpg. I don't know why you're replacing it, but thought I'd share my experience.
Make sure to replace the o-ring and clip as well.
Good luck.
