Default Intercooler upgrade and bleeding the system

I have seen a few places post up larger intercoolers with a separate can to fill the system and bleed it. Is it possible to check if there is any air in the stock system?

I work with a lot of supercharged Corvette systems and there are typically bleeders if it is a closed system. Didn't notice any on my SQ5. Do you know if there is a way to bleed the system? Also has anyone done any air intake temp tests to see how hard the stock system is taxed in the heat of the summer?

Im used to Turbo engines where an intercooler is a separate core. how do you intercool a supercharger that doesn't have a charge pipe?
