what the hell is up with my timing?
<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/21016/timing.jpg"></center><p>so i have been having a real issue with a loss of power with my car. i got around to running some logs and here is the result.
Control Module Part Number: 8E0 909 518 AF
Component and/or Version: 1.8L R4/5VT G 0003
Software Coding: 0016711
Work Shop Code: WSC 79670
4 Faults Found:
17766 - Cylinder 2 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1358 - 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
17763 - Cylinder 1 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1355 - 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
17769 - Cylinder 3 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1361 - 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
17772 - Cylinder 4 Ignition Circuit: Open Circuit
P1364 - 004 - No Signal/Communication - Intermittent
that is what came up when i first turned on the cag. they were cleared and not sure if they came up again. i am not sure if is related but is seems that the timing on my car is a fvcking mess. what is the deal? can this be taken care of with a simple sps unit(i run revo software). i also ran a log on my actual boost vs. reuested and that seems to be all good. i will post that if needed. help!!!!!! lol

Re: what the hell is up with my timing?
A common problem for Mitsubishi is that the knock sensor is registering too much knock(detonation) and retards timing until it goes away. Your graph looks like this could be happening, can you overlay boost psi on that same graph? Do you have a way to monitor knock. Do you know what the maximum airflow measurement is? You may have passed that too.
