Default Is this normal?? Timing belt pic

<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/78817/119_1944.jpg"></center><p>Hi Guys,

I have an 01 a4 1.8t and was changing out the valve cover gasket today. When i pulled back the toothed belt cover, i a, somewhat worried about what i saw.

When look straight down, the belt doesn't fit flush against the tensioner side closest to the engine. I can see the tensioner teeth, the the belth starts. I didn't take off the whole plastic cover yet to see if it it hanging over on the other side.

I have had my timing belt replaced before.

Does this look right?

Looks a bit too far out to me. I'd pull the cover and inspect everything.
