I'll be replacing all my Loctite products with the new "gel" products soon as I run out of my Loctite liquids. Bad news is they won't be availble to those who buy the teenie lil 6ml tubes but for those that purchase larger quantities of greater than 10ml they should make an applicator. Stuff works much like an underarm deoderant solid applicator where you just turn a knob and the gel appears at the top of the applicator tip which is a rectangualr shape rather than a point and FAR better for applying to threads. Stays EXACTLY where you put it, doesn't run and cannot drip like the more common threadlocker liquids. Fretfully easy to apply and work with and about the consistency of toothpaste.

My Loctite rep tells me they don't have it in all their formulas yet but that soon everything from all threadlocker compounds to bearing retaining ring and sleeve locking compounds will soon be available in the gel formula. I better get busy using all my old liquid Loctite up!
