Mance recovery sleeve group buy (6)
Just looking to see who would be interested in a potential group buy for recovery sleeves. We're looking for 5-6 participants, and Mance has agreed to a very generous price, around $150 per part. So far we have:
1. EDIGREG
2. islingtonaudi
3. Agaeris
4. RDRNYC
5. evol (Jonathan)
6. AudiHawk95
Please send myself or Doug an email if you are interested. Thanks!

When I bought my 12v, the kit had already been discontinued...
So I essentially made my own...Bought the machined parts from Mance, and the silicone elsewhere. All you need is two 90* elbows and a 1ft strait piece(all 3" ID).

Is there a tech article or write-up for the home-made hose kit?
Or does anyone have detailed pictures? i have searched some, but alot of the links to the pictures aren't working.
Also, what are all of the machined parts needed?

Here is a pic of my replica kit. The recovery sleeve is the only machined..

The lucky ones who bought one of Mance's true S3 kits also had machined joiner tube edges for optimal flow I believe. You could ask him if he'd be willing to do those in addition to the recovery sleeves. From what I've read recently though he is extremely busy with Pro-Mounts and Mount Savers and is probably going to be on "overtime" just to do the recovery sleeves. Regardless, you will be very happy with the improvements from the RS and silicone tubing.
The silicone is available from a bunch of places, I ended up using 3"ID tubing from Turbo Hoses. You'll need (1) 3ft. section of straight tube, (2) 90* elbows, 1 joiner tube and 6 stainless non-marring clamps. Very straightforward mod once you have all of the pieces.
In addition you'll need to modify the PCV breather hoses, plenty of write ups on the different methods in the archives.
HTH, if you have any questions let me know.
