Default BBK, Step 1: BMC......................................

Big Master Cylinder:

This is from a 200 TQ.

Compare the 200 TQ in silver to the original in black. The 200 is BIG! Probably 30-40% bigger.

Installed!

This was a "Plug and Play" with my 1995. Did not have to change the brake booster. It fit perfectly!

My mechanic is very skeptical about anything from the Internet. He was hoping this would fail, but even he was impressed with the increased stopping power. Less pedal pressure is needed, but it is all there when you need it. I am running Hawk HP Plus compound, which was great before the BMC, but now it is even better.

"Mance Equipped"
A GREAT Mance suggestion!
Thank you, Mance!

Default Its a great upgrade for stock brakes. And its even better with larger front brakes...

but its MANDATORY with larger front and rear brakes. Those running larger front or front/rear brakes that havent upgraded MC's are totally missing out on the Big Brake experience. You have NO idea what you've been missing!!

just curious as I will be upgrading to boxster calipers and S4/V8/200 20v rear brakes down the road.

Default I dont "think" so but I'm not positive or it might with modification... Its...

been a LONG time since I played with 4K's and cant remember the ins & outs of most of the cars mechanicals. There are plenty of options if not. I do remember you'll need the MC/firewall reinforcement plate before considering most any brake upgrade or the firewall will buckle from brake/clutch pedal effort.

I think 034 carries em.

Default cool, thanks...

yeah I'm planning on doing the firewall brace when I pull the motor later on in the summer to transplant my rebuilt MC2 motor

Block is at the machine shop now getting hot tanked and honed as we speak. Also he's cleaning the head and pulling the valve guides and seals so I can P&P it. Should be a fun lil summer project
