Default True enough and in spite of appearances my photos are archived... just not publicly. Most have...

found their way back into my AW pic poster many, many times over the years. In fact a quick review of my pic poster just now reveals all but a scant few of the 30 or so pics in there today date back 3-5 years from their initial/introductory showing and are making their 4th, 5th, 6th or even MUCH higher numerical reappearance. A few, due to repeated requests are left in the pic poster almost full time/constantly until demand wanes. And the pic poster content changes about as often as someone at this forum asks a question that I am better able to answer with a picture accompanied by an explanation. I constantly/continually use my pictures to do that for others. I mean just take a quick inventory of this forum's front page and my percentage of "pics with posts" responses exclusively made to answer "other's" questions compared to others "just" posting a text response. Even that takes GOBS more work than a simple text reply involving as many as many as ten 1G memory sticks just to find a specific picture. I'm hardly stingy or reluctant doing that for others here because it's ALWAYS a MUCH better, more comprehensive answer/response than text/words alone will ever be. Like this week and last, if I don't have a picture of something that would help someone I'll load the camera, go outside or into the garage and set up a pic for lighting/contrast, wipe things down for clarity and take the best damn high-res pic of the person's question that can possibly be done. Has anyone even bothered to count the pics I actually took this week or last for NO other reason whatsoever than "just" to better answer someone else's questions!?!

Default You're doing it wrong...

I registered a new account and posted this picture in 76.4 seconds. Video proof!

1) They give you 4 or 5 different choices if your user name is taken
2) You don't have to use a real email address to sign up
3) The phone number is optional

This was actually the easiest account I've ever signed up for. There wasn't even an email verification.

Then that can only reinforce and corroborate my contention. Thank you!

Default fwiw, I like and use Photobucket for all of my photos, but you gotta stick with

what works well for you.

The best solution, IMHO, would be a personal demonstration of someone's favorite photo hosting service over a beer. That would take a lot of the pain and frustration out of the whole thing. Short of that, I can see why you'd rather spend your time figuring out cool new things to do with your Ipod or wii so you can impress your grandchildren.

Default ipod? wii? grandchildren? you GOTTA have me confused with someone else...

I do have an iphone and a Sony 46" Bravia XBR LCD Flat Panel HDTV and I saw a wii once at a Christmas party in 2007, does zat count?

And I'll do a beer with anyone/any time, but let's leave photo hosting sites out of the conversation for say... umm at least another few weeks. Deal?
