I may need to replace my turbo at 85,000 mi.. What are the advantages and disadvantages of a k03 turbo?

one advantage is that they are small so they build boost alot quicker that a big turbo, cuts way down on the turbo lag. But they are small so youre not going to make a crazy bunch of power.
