Boost Peaks at 17psi - Am I chipped???
Hi all,
I drive a 2001 a4 1.8t Q with 75,000 miles. I recently installed a prosport boost gauge. Due to a CEL issue I was unable to get an accurate reading on my boost until now (because of limp mode).
I am peaking at 17psi and it holds at about 15psi. I know these are not stock specs. My turbo is stock. The car is mostly stock with respect to the engine.
Can anybody tell me why my boost peaks so high? Is it possible that I am chipped?
Any insight would be greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance!

none to the engine (that I know of). Forge 007 DV. Thats it. I am going to take a look at the N75 valve just to see if the one-time use clamps have been removed (just to see if anyone tried manually adjusting)
