Blown motor or not??? what do you think .. codes as well?
This is hot off the press..
I have a 2001 TT I bought 7 months ago.
Now mods are Apr chip which I put on. and mod shack boost machine. Turned up to 4.5 turns boostin around 23 psi. I fugured that wasn't too crazy from what I read.
Now for the codes.
P1555
P1340
P0343
P1602
Some please tell me what they mean.
And for the smoking gun..
Compression test now this is what they are telling me.
cyc -1 15 PSI
cyc -2 30 PSI
cyc -3 0 PSI
cyc -4 0 PSI
I know they all should be around 150 -180 PSI
Now this is what the shop is telling me and they are not known to be a good shop.
they said the top end is gone from the codes...
What do you all think?

from those codes i'd say you have a cam chain problem...
here's the list. iirc the 1602 means you've lost power to the ecu and usually is no problem.

h ttp://www.bentleypublishers.com/tech/audi/audi.dtc.table.htm?stickyEmail=&ticket=none</a

Re: How's the timing belt and tensioner?
The belt had plent of tension on it the shop said. As well I was right there when he looked at it and said it was fine.
So I can't see the belt slipping unless there are like a butt load of teath that are all missing??
I don't get...?

The codes by themselves don't necessarily point to a belt that slipped or let go, but
add in your statement that compression was virtually nill and it points to the valves having been folded or not sealing in the proper 'sequence' to generate compression.
Therefore, my WAG was to look at the timing belt first. If the belt and tensioner are fine I'd look at the cam chain /cam chain tensioner and cam timing next.
P1304= crank camshaft out of sequence

t-belt
remove the t=belt cover. make a mark on the t=belt. crank the car over, look for the mark it its still there. the teeth are stipped on the belt and your valves are bent. if the mark is gone you know the belts teeth arn't striped off.
